Dr. S. Robert Rozbruch, MD, of Hospital for Special Surgery presents osseointegration for Thamer, a wounded warrior and double, above-knee amputee. Limited to using a wheelchair, Thamer strugged with socket prosthetics due to his short and different length residual limbs. Osseointegration provided improved function and has helped Thamer tremendously.
